When the two of you finally agree on a date, be honest with yourself. Don't push yourself if you think it's not a good idea. Don't go out of your way just to prove something, either. Agreeing on an interracial date should not be about you proving yourself to someone. Date a black guy like you would date any other person. Let him treat you with respect and vice-versa. Follow your usual rules when dating. Just hold on. Sooner or later, interracial dating is going to be one of the most natural things in this world.
